David Meninger

CEO

Graduate of the Department of Geography with a specialization in Physical Geography and trends in Environmental Planning and Geomorphology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Expert in ecological aspects and their association with the morphological structure. For 20 years, he managed and worked as a park ranger in the Yehuda Desert and Dead Sea regions for the Israel Nature and Park’s Authority before establishing Geoteva.

Nataly Ohayon

Office Manager

B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, Sami Shimon College

Experienced in administrative management of large and small office spaces. In charge of implementation, project price quotes, collection, funds, and payments.

Daniel Meninger-Cohen

Head of Environmental Impact and Renewable Energy Surveys – Wind Turbines

Head of the Department for Management of Natural Recources and the Department of Conventional Energy

M.A. In management and economics of natural resources, from the University of Haifa, from the Department of Management in the track of natural resources management.

B.A. In geography and environmental development at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in the fields of environmental protection.

She has knowledge and experience in environmental consulting, sustainable management, corporate responsibility, environmental reports and strategic and statutory planning.

Director and editor of field surveys specializing in the realm of green energy. She has extensive knowledge and experience with wind turbine initiatives.

Julian Leaf

Head of the Department of Renewable Energy

In recent years, Julian has advanced over 70 Photovoltaic facilities throughout the country including both national infrastructure plans as well as local projects.

M.Sc. in Environmental Studies from the Department of Desert Architecture, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, with emphasis in Microclimatic modeling.

B.Sc. in Environmental Science from Tel-Hai College.

Experienced in mathematical modeling for environmental processes, GIS systems, and statistical analyses of environmental data including Bioclimatic Building, Renewable energy, and planning for sensitive waters, and Environmental Development.

Daniel Zamler

Head of the Department for Environmenatal Planning and Green Building

M.A. in geomorphology and hydro-thermology from the Department of Geography and Environmental Development, Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

B.A. in Geography and Environmental Development from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, with an emphasis on physical geography.

Extensive knowledge in a wide variety of environmental and statutory issues, expertise in landscape restoration of horizontal infrastructure and the interface between ecology and geomorphology between open spaces and settlements.

Extensive experience in promoting, consulting, and managing environmental plans, including an assortment of written environmental reports.

In addition, he has expertise as a tour guide and tourism consultant, with an emphasis on desert tourism.    

Noam Levi

Reut Ein-Gil

Head of the Deparment of Ecology

M.Sc. in Ecology from the Department of Life Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

B.A. in Geography and Environmental Development from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in the fields of Geomorphology and Soils.

Experienced in the fields of Environmental Preservation, Ecology, and Zoology, with an emphasis in sandy habitats and Loess soil habitats, reptile ecology, and field work.

Dan Michaelan

Head of the Department of GIS Modelling

B.A. in Geography and Environmental Development from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Knowledge and experience with geographical databases – QGIS, ArcGIS and with image processing programs – SNAP, ENVI, ERDAS IMAGINE.

Experience with different satellite image processing, including SAR radar images. Knowledge of statistical modelling using R programming, JAVASCRIPT, and SQL.

Daniel Cohen

Experienced in the preparation of landscape reports and guidance according to the Urban Planning Policy, creating detailed plans for project implementation and performance, planning of open spaces organized by scale, and landscape restoration.
