conflict between project development and the conservation of ecological systems. As consultants in developmental projects, we are asked to predict the outcomes of these endeavors to the surrounding ecosystems.<\/p><p>In the stage of planning, there is an opportunity to address potential implications to natural systems and to implement methods of mitigation and prevention of lasting negative environmental impacts. The survey included hydrological analysis of both groundwater and surface water flows, and ecological surveys for aquatic flora and fauna in these rivers, chief among them the Besor River. In order to analyze the aquatic habitats in the Besor river, our team coordinated with Dr. Eldad Elron, who modeled the missing vertebrates in the stream body.
